A man in his 30s has died in a crash in a County Wicklow.

The motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a van in Corballis Upper in Rathdrum at around 8:05am this morning.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and the van driver, a man in his 50s, was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The R752 remains shut while Forensic Collision Investigators carry out an inspection.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to the crash to contact them.

They are particularly interested in talking to anyone who was in the area between 7:30am and 8am this morning and may have camera footage.
