Ireland's biggest pothole made the news back in January. But in China, a driver was in the wrong place at the wrong time as he ended up in the world's biggest pothole.
The motorist named as Che Ling was driving through a street in the city of Che Ling when the road collapsed beneath his vehicle, leaving his car wedged in a chasm that was 10 foot deep.
Surveyors believe a broken water main caused the ground underneath the road to erode.
