The success of Brendan O Carroll’s Mrs Brown’s Boys is set to continue as page 13 of the Indo tells us that the movie version of the sitcom is set to start rolling on Dublin’s Moore Street next September.
Universal Studios are set to finance the project, which is projected to have a budget of about €4.8million. A spokesperson for Brendan O Carroll has said that because of the Dublin humour that the show is centred on, it will need Dublin actors and technicians to get it right for the big screen.
