A man in his 20s has died after a multi-vehicle collision in Co. Kilkenny.

Emergency services are at the scene of the crash.

It happened about 6 kilometres outside the city on the N10 road to Danesfort.

The road is expected to be closed for some time.

The AA says diversions are in place.

Long delays are also being reported approaching the city from Bennettsbridge.
