Gardaí have launched a murder investigation following the discovery of a woman's body in Roscommon earlier this week.
The woman has been formally identified as Mirjana Pap (58).
Her body was found on the lands of at Curraghaleen near Athlone on Monday December 30th.
A post-mortem was carried out yesterday by the Deputy State Pathologist Dr Yvonne McCarthy at Galway University Hospital.
Anyone with information has been urged to contact Gardaí.
Gardaí are particularly interested in the movements of a silver 08-G registered Peugeot 207 between 11am and 12pm on Saturday December 28th.
The car is understood to have travelled from Beechville estate, Athlone onto the N6 motorway (west bound) from junction 11 to junction 13 before continuing on the R362 from Monksland to Bealnaulla.
Motorists who travelled along this route have been asked to share any dash-cam footage they have.
Investigations are ongoing.
