Séamus Ó Beaglaoich, one of Ireland's most famous traditional musicians, has passed away at the age of 73.
Mr Ó Beaglaoich grew up in the Gaeltacht parish of Baile na bPoc near Dingle and spent his life immersed in Irish traditional music and culture.

During a long career where he sang and played the accordion, he collaborated with stars such as Mary Black and Steve Cooney.
From a musical family, he recorded his first album with his sister Máire and often performed with his brother Breanndán - who is a regular contributor to Newstalk.
