The Minister for Communications says the Government are delaying the introduction of a broadcasting charge, over fears the public won't accept a new fee.
A new consumer payment to replace the current TV Licence Fee, was included in the programme for Government.
But Alex White's reiterated that any such charge would not be introduced in the lifetime of this Government.
