A French train operator has spent €15 BILLION on new trains - only to discover that they're TOO WIDE for some stations.
It's emerged that the company which operates France's train stations gave OLD measurements to the train operator - and didn't account for newer stations which have less space between train tracks.
Around one in every six train platforms in France will now be modified, so the new trains can fit in.

France's transport minister has described the mistake as "absurd".
