There's been an increase in the number of houses sold.
Figures from the Property Price Register show just under 21,000 residential properties sold last year - that's over 15% more than in 2011.
And it seems property prices continue to fall.
Two new reports out this morning from the websites My Home.ie and Daft.ie show that prices around the country fell by almost 3% from October to December last year - while in Dublin, prices decreased by 1.6%.
My Home.ie says the average price of a house is €201,000 - whereas Daft.ie puts the national average at €151,000.
