A new trial date has been fixed for the father of two accused of murdering childcare worker Elaine O'Hara.
Graham Dwyer (41) with an address at Kerrymount Close, Foxrock in Dublin was to stand trial in April 2015 but the case has been moved forward to January 19th next.
Today at the Central Criminal Court defence barrister Ronan Kennedy BL applied for the earlier date in light of the failed bail application by the architect three weeks ago.
Mr. Dwyer is accused of murdering Elaine O'Hara on August 22nd 2012.
The remains of the childcare worker were found on Killakee Mountain in Rathfarnham last September - 13 months after her disappearance.
The trial is expected to last six weeks.
