Met Eireann has issued a new weather warning - as parts of the country deal with the aftermath of yesterday’s flooding.
An orange status alert is in place for the next 24 hours in counties Dublin, Louth, Wexford, Wicklow, Meath, Cork, Kerry and Waterford.
More coastal flooding is likely as high tides are forecast - as well as heavy rain and gusts of up to 100 kilometres per hour.
These latest storms come, as thousands of people living in the west and south west of the country continue to count the cost of flood damage.
Limerick City Council held an emergency meeting this afternoon to discuss its plan to help those who's homes have been destroyed by flooding.
