Hundreds of new phone hacking claims are likely to be levelled at the News of the World in the UK.
The new claims come after a suspect apparently blew the whistle on what was going on at the now defunct Sunday tabloid.
The revelations come ahead of debates in the British parliament next week on how far press regulation should go.
