Newstalk has received 33 nominations for this year’s IMRO Radio Awards.
The annual awards honour the very best in Irish radio broadcasting and recognise the personalities that make Irish radio great.
The winners will be announced at a special ceremony at the Lyrath Estate in County Kilkenny on Friday, October 4th.
This year’s shortlist sees Newstalk nominated for awards in a host of categories.
Newstalk Breakfast, The Hard Shoulder and The Pat Kenny Show have all been nominated for Current Affairs Programme of the year.
Meanwhile, Moncrieff has been nominated for Magazine Programme of the year, Off the Ball is up for Sports Programme of the year and Lunchtime Live is up for Interactive Speech Programme of the year.
Breakfast Briefing has been nominated for News Programme of the year, while The Tom Dunne Show is up for Specialist Music Programme of the year.
Futureproof and The Home Show are both up for Specialist Speech Programme of the year.
Finally, Splanc le Cuán Ó Flatharta is up for Craoltóireacht le Gaeilge.

Newstalk broadcasters are also in for a host of personal accolades.
Andrea Gilligan, Ciara Kelly, Pat Kenny and Sean Moncrieff have all been nominated for Broadcaster of the Year.
Shane Beatty has been nominated for News Broadcaster of the Year.
Aisling O’Reilly, Eoin Sheahan, John Duggan and Nathan Murphy are all nominated for Sports Broadcaster of the year.
Meanwhile, Henry McKean and Sheila Naughton are both nominated for News Reporter of the Year.
