Final preparations will be made in County Wexford today for this year’s National Ploughing Championships which kicks off tomorrow.
The event runs for 3 days, from Tuesday 25th to Thursday 27th September.
The three day event is expected to draw nearly 200,000 people to Heathpark in New Ross, as well as a €36 million financial boost.
A major operation will be in place to control traffic in the area, with 200 Gardai and 500 volunteer stewards on duty to help the public enjoy their visit.
