Some 784,000 people tune into Newstalk every week, according to the latest JNLR figures.
The results show that Newstalk remains the most popular station in the country among people aged 20 to 44.
The station has increased weekly listeners by 17,000 over the last year and now has 784,000 weekly listeners – keeping it on a national prime-time market share of 7.1%.
The station is the clear Number One for commercial radio in Dublin with an 11.1% market share and 168,000 daily listeners.

Newstalk Breakfast with Ciara Kelly and Shane Coleman leads the charge in audience growth with the show now pulling in 147,000 listeners daily.
The increase makes it the most popular breakfast show in Newstalk’s history.
Meanwhile, Moncrieff and The Hard Shoulder also recorded healthy increases in listenership.
On the weekends meanwhile, Off the Ball is going from strength to strength – with listeners on Saturday up 19,000 and on Sunday up 22,000.
