UKIP leader Nigel Farage is none too pleased at an anti-UKIP mobile app made by schoolchildren.

In the game, a character named Nigel Fromage attempts to kick various foreigners as far as he can off the cliffs of Dover.

Farage called the game "risible and in many ways pathetic."

"I'm a public figure and of course people are going to have views. But elements of this game appear to cross the line" he said.

"Fair play to them for having a bit of fun. If they want to go away and look at Ukip policies, they will actually learn a lot."

The app was produced by 18-year-olds as part of a coding programme in Canterbury Academy and is available on Google Play.
