A Dáil committee has not raised any objections to a massive bailout for the health service.
The Health Minister is formally requested €680m in extra funds to keep services going to the end of the year.
More Ministers will make similar requests later this afternoon and this evening.

Leo Varadkar says there is a chance the health budget for next year won't be sufficient:
“There are absolutely downside risks. Potentially demand will continue to rise, with inward migration, with the ageing population we may see demand rise again next year."
