This morning, it emerged that Sinn Féin had raised over 12 million dollars in the last 20 years through donations in the United States.
According to the Irish Times, the party says donors usually paid for services like drivers, rather than giving money straight into the party's accounts.
This afternoon, Pearse Doherty spoke to Lunchtime with Jonathan Healy about the fundraising and stated: "Everything that's in the Irish Times in terms of the people who have donated to Sinn Féin and the quantity of money that they have donated to friends of Sinn Féin over the last 20 years is available through Google.
"None of this is secret, hidden donations given to individuals."
