Gardaí are investigating a shooting incident in Cherry Orchard in Dublin overnight.

It's understood shots were fired on Ballyfermot Parade at around 12.30am.

The gunman is believed to have been aiming at three people who were sitting in a parked car.

Nobody was seriously injured in the incident.
