A man has been arrested after another man was stabbed to death in Dublin early this morning.
It happened at Clinchs Court in the North Strand area at around 4am.
A 45-year-old man was seriously injured and taken to the Mater Hospital, where he later died.
The State Pathologist is due to carry out a post-mortem examination later today.
A second man, also in his mid-40s, was injured and taken to St James' Hospital for treatment.
A man was arrested in connection with the stabbing this morning.
The 45-year-old is being held at Mountjoy Garda Station under Section 4, Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
Gardaí are at the scene, and the area has been sealed off to allow for a forensic examination.
