A female University rowing club has been banned from Facebook after their nude charity calendar was branded as 'pornography' by Facebook.
The women from The University of Warwick Rowing Society, dropped their oars and their clothes to pose nude for a calendar to raise money for charity.

The calendar was a huge success and the team raised over £3,400 (€4,300) for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The team managed to drum up huge support online and on social media to sell over 1,500 copies of their 2014 calendar.
However, when photographs from the calendar were posted on the team's Facebook page, the team found themselves banned from Facebook a few days later as the photographs were deemed as 'pornography'.
The team and the public have taken to twitter to express their outrage at Facebook's notoriously difficult censorchip policy, claiming they are being sexist and promoting a double standard.
Is this really not appropriate for Facebook? @facebook think it's #pornography! #facebookbannedourpage pic.twitter.com/BDcAXFTAUL

“@nakedgirlsrow: @facebook banned our page showing mild nudity. Yet the men's calendar FB page has not. #sexism” @BareReality @Scout_Willis

@nakedgirlsrow definitely not pornography; rather, it's beauty in its most natural state!!

The team are worried that being banned from Facebook will affect their ability to advertise and sell their 2015 charity calendar.
Facebook have yet to respond to the controversial banning.
