London has opened its gates this morning to the world’s elite athletes – including those from USA, Russia and China – who are arriving for the Olympic Games.

It’s expected to be one of Heathrow airport’s busiest days.

They’ll then use the first of the special lanes on the M4 which came into force this morning.

There are fears the lanes could cause chaos but London Mayor Boris Johnson says they’re a necessity.
