One of Britain's most wanted fugitives has been captured in Spain.

Convicted armed robber Andrew Moran was sunbathing when police raided a luxury villa on the Costa Blanca.

31-year-old Moran was part of a gang who used a handgun and a machete during a £25,000 raid on a Royal Mail vehicle in Lancashire in 2005.

During his trial, he assaulted four security guards, vaulted over the dock and escaped.

Named as one of Crimestoppers ten "most wanted" two years ago, it's also emerged he narrowly escaped capture last November after driving the wrong way up a motorway to flee police.
