One student has died and more than a hundred others have been hurt in a stampede on a university campus in Kenya.
A faulty power transformer exploded, causing panic among students at the University of Nairobi - who feared they were coming under attack.
Reuters reports students jumped from windows while others rushed to escape, causing the stampede. Student Felix Muriuki said that "I could see the students jumping and one of them landed on his head".
Almost 150 people were killed when al Qaeda-linked militants struck at a college in Kenya ten days ago.
Four gunmen strapped with explosives stormed the campus and singled out non-Muslim students to be murdered.
It was Kenya's deadliest attack since the 1998 bombing of the US embassy in Nairobi.
