Charlie McConalogue, who was dropped from the Cabinet last week, has been made Minister for Sport.

Robert Troy also returns as a Junior Minister, having resigned over amid controversy over his property holdings during the last Government.

Fine Gael's Colm Burke has been dropped from his role as a Minister of State, as has Fianna Fáil's Sean Fleming.

But just four of today's nineteen appointments are women - meaning they make up just nine of the 38 Ministers appointed overall.
