Rain weather warnings have been issued for several eastern counties.
A Status Orange warning has been put in place for Dublin and Wicklow until 8am on Saturday.
Met Éireann has said there will be spells of heavy rain.
The impacts could include flooding, dangerous driving conditions and poor visibility.
A Status Yellow alert has also been issued for Meath and Louth until 9pm tonight.

There will be heavy rain or showers with chance of thunder here.
There could also be some localised flooding as well as dangerous travelling conditions.
It comes as parts of the southwest are still cleaning up after Storm Babet dropped a month's worth of rain in 24 hours.
A Status Yellow rain warning is also in place for Northern Ireland from the UK Met Office.
