Gardai targeting organised crime have seized over €100,000 during searches in the Dublin area.
It comes after gardaí stopped two vehicles on the Naas Road on Tuesday.
A “substantial” amount of cash was recovered.
A 41-year-old man and two women, aged 29 and 38-years old, were arrested on suspicion of money laundering.
They are in custody at Clondalkin, Ballyfermot and Ronanstown Garda Stations.
During follow-up searches in the capital, a further quantity of cash was uncovered – bringing the total value of the seizures to over €100,000.
The operation was carried out based on intelligence gathered by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau and a special crime task force.
