An international monitoring team is being deployed to defuse the crisis in Ukraine.

Russia's accepted the move by nearly 60 other nations which make up the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (the OSCE) - following a decision last night in Vienna.

The team has permission to travel anywhere in Ukraine except Crimea.

The 6 month mission will involve 100 observers.
