Gardaí have continued to appeal for information following the death of a young Limerick mother on Saturday.
Marguerita Sheridan from Rathkeale was hit by a silver-coloured Ford Transit van, which failed to remain at the scene.
She had given birth to her first child three weeks ago.
Local Rathkeale councillor Adam Teskey has said it's a tragedy.
"Our town is in profound sadness, we are in a state of shock, we need to rally now more than ever as a community in this immense time of need for the family," he said.
"That has always been the case in Rathkeale in times of tragic need, that we have always come together.
"The Sheridan family would be very well-respected in our community."
Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information about the van to come forward.
