Centric Health is creating 200 positions in 10 new primary care centres around the country.
Whilst US company Dropbox is to set up an International Operation Centre in Dublin - however, the number of new jobs there is not yet known.
200 new jobs will be created at Centric Health following the company's €20 million investment to develop 10 new primary care centres in Ireland.
Fifty of the jobs are expected to be in the areas of medical, paramedical and administrative staff and will come on line over the next year.
The first of the new centres will open in 2013 in Newbridge in Co. Kildare and centres for Celbridge, Kildare and the Navan Road in Dublin are also underway.
Meanwhile, US company Dropbox is to set up an International Operation Centre in Dublin.
It's the company's first move outside the United States.
The firm will be hiring for a variety of positions - including multi-lingual sales teams, account management and user operations staff, to provide support to Dropbox users in Europe.
