At least 91 people have been killed in wave of attacks in Baghdad and north of the capital.
112 people were also wounded in the attacks.
Security and medical officials say insurgents mounted a total of at least 22 different attacks in at least 14 cities.
The deadliest attack was in the town of Taji where 18 people died and 29 others wounded.
Medical officers say the explosions included a suicide attack.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attacks.
However an Al-Qaeda offshoot ‘The Islamic State of Iraq’ had warned in recent days that it would be moving to recapture territory once held.
