More than a quarter of older people feel they do not have enough money to do the things they want to do.
That is one of the findings of the Pfizer Health Index which is being launched today.
Half of people surveyed said they worry about becoming a burden on other people as they get older.
On balance though nearly 3/4 of older people say growing old is more of a happy experience than a sad one.
While 78% feel either prepared or optimistic about getting old.
