Overcrowding in Irish hospitals could lead to the spread of Ebola if it's detected in this country.

The group representing Ireland's Nurses says it doesn't want to cause public panic, but it does want the HSE to explain how it plans to deal with suspected cases.

The World Health Organisation has warned Ebola will almost certainly spread through Europe, after a Spanish nurse was diagnosed this week.

However, our Government and the Health Service Executive are both insisting the chance of the virus reaching Ireland remains very low.

Ebola is spread by bodily fluids and Phil Ní Sheaghadha of the INMO says time spent among other patients could add to the danger:
