The Public Accounts Committee has slammed NAMA over court action against the widow of a Tipperary farmer who took his own life.
The spending watchdog revealed the action this morning with committee members saying they had received assurances from NAMA that the agency would engage in mediation rather than proceed with the court action.
But chairman John McGuinness revealed that papers were thrown into the reception area of Annette De Vere Hunt's Tipperary home late one Friday night recently.
