Katie-George Dunlevy and her pilot Linda Kelly have won a gold medal in the women’s road time trial B at the Paralympics in Paris.
They completed the 28.3km course in 38:16.58 after being the last team to take to the road.
It’s Team Ireland’s first gold of the Games, bringing their total medal haul to five.
Josephine Healion and Eve McCrystal also placed fifth in the same event, finishing in 41:57.6.

Speaking to RTÉ immediately after winning, Dunleavy said the course was “really challenging and technical”.
“I thought we were going to come off a few times - but that’s racing for you,” she added.
“I’m very emotional and I can’t really believe it.”
Other medals
Dunlevy and McCrystal had earlier taken home silver in the 3,000m individual pursuit B on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Orla Comerford from Dublin won bronze in last night’s women’s 100m T13 final, finishing in 11.94.
Róisín Ní Riain from Limerick also clinched bronze yesterday, this time in the SM13 200m individual medley at the La Défense Arena.
Ní Riain also secured Ireland’s first medal of the games on Friday, August 30th, earning silver in the 100-metre backstroke with a time of 1:07.27.
