A $100 million claim on behalf of a 6-year-old who survived the school shooting in the US two weeks ago has been lodged by her parents.
Twenty children and six adults were shot dead earlier this month at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut.
Reuters reports the unidentified child, heard "cursing, screaming, and shooting" over the school intercom when the gunman, 20-year-old Adam Lanza, opened fire.

The legal team representing the child's family say that as a result the 6-year-old sustained emotional and psychological trauma and injury.
