The 15-year-old daughter of Michael Jackson is said to be physically fine after being taken to a hospital following a suspected suicide attempt.

Sheriff's officials have confirmed they transported someone from a home in her LA neighbourhood in the early hours of yesterday morning - but gave no further information.

The anniversary of Michael Jackson's death is approaching on June 25th and Paris may have to give evidence in the ongoing wrongful death case against his last employer's, AEG Live.

The Jackson family are appealing for privacy.

Media reports suggest her suicide attempt may have happened hours after a dispute over a Marilyn Manson concert.

TMZ is reporting that Paris left a note for her family and called a suicide hotline, who in turn contacted emergency services.

She posted this tweet the day before the incident:
