Sunday's set to be a "very cold day with sunny spells and wintry showers of rain hail, sleet and snow", forecasters say.
Met Éireann forecaster John Eagleton explained what areas are expected to be worst affected.
He said: "It will be the north-west, north Connacht, Ulster, Donegal, Tyrone, that corner there into Roscommon... some those showers could turn wintry.
"We're not really expecting anything here in the east of the country or in the south of the country - but there will be showers, and it'll be a cold, windy day."
