The Irish Patients Association is calling on the Minister for Health to write to all nursing home regulatory bodies to see if anything can be learned from the report on a home in Co Leitrim..
HIQA found the Do Not Resuscitate orders at the privately run Mulross Nursing Home were never discussed with the patient or their family.
The home was taken over by the HSE at the beginning of this year - and has since closed.
