A Senator, and the husband of Lucinda Creighton, Paul Bradford, says he has not yet decided whether he will run for a seat in the Dail when his wife sets up her new political party.
Mr Bradford says he believe the new political party will reach double figures following the next general election.
Earlier this week, Lucinda Creighton announced she is setting up a new party which aims to support entrepreneurs but also make sure that everyone in Ireland has a minimum standard of living.
The party will be officially launched in eight weeks. It currently has no name, but was launched under the slogan 'Reboot Ireland'.
Independent Senator Paul Bradford says he is asking others to run in their campaign, but has not decided if he wants to put his name on the ticket:

Lucinda Creighton, meanwhile, says her new political party will scrap the Universal Social Charge.
