The Anti Austerity Alliance TD Paul Murphy says he will not be apologising to the Tánaiste Joan Burton over a protest in Dublin last Saturday.
Yesterday the Taoiseach Enda Kenny again called on him to apologise to Ms Burton, after she was held in her car for more than two hours by protestors opposing water charges.
Garda reinforcement - including the garda helicopter - were called in.
Mr Murphy claimed earlier this week that Ms Burton was hamming it up so as to appear as "a victim".
He has today launched a We Won't Pay campaign, alongside Socialist Party leader Joe Higgins.
They are predicting that more than half of households will not pay even the lower level of charges to be announced by the government.
And Mr Murphy is non-repentant for the treatment of Ms Burton in the protest.
While Rose Sinclair-Doyle, who took part in the Jobstown protest, blames children and Tallaght gardaí for the trouble.
