A man who was arrested following the discovery of a woman’s body in Cork last week has been charged and is expected to appear in court this morning.
On Friday, Gardaí announced they had found the body of Paula Canty, age 31, at a property on Bridewell Lane in the town of Mallow.
Gardaí believe she died as a result of foul play and a murder probe has been launched following her postmortem.

A man, aged in his 40s, who was arrested in relation to this investigation has been charged.
He is expected to appear before Midleton District Court at 11am this morning.
Investigations are ongoing.
