A pedestrian in his 40s has been seriously injured in a crash in Limerick early this morning.
It happened at the roundabout at Corbally Rd near the Grove shopping centre at around 1:30am.
The pedestrian was struck by a car as he crossed the road.
He was taken to University Hospital Limerick with serious injuries.
The driver of the car was not injured.
The road has been closed to traffic, with a Garda forensic team expected to examine the crash site.
