A woman has died following a crash in County Dublin.

It happened around 11pm on Tuesday, June 4th, on the Ranelagh Road in Dublin 6 and involved a pedestrian and a cyclist.

The victim, a pedestrian aged in her 70s, was taken to St Vincent’s University Hospital with serious injuries and was pronounced dead on Sunday.

The male cyclist was uninjured.

A technical exam of the scene was conducted, and Garda inquiries are ongoing.

Gardaí are asking for witnesses of the crash to come forward, particularly those with dash cam footage who was travelling through the area at the time.
