A pedestrian has been involved in a crash with a Luas this afternoon.

Gardai say the incident happened at Smithfield at around 1:45pm.

It is believed the injuries of the man are not life threatening.

He has been taken to St James's Hospital for treatment.

Part of the Luas Red Line was suspended for a time but it is now back up and running.
