US President Donald Trump has delivered his annual State of the Union address - but the event was dominated by public displays of hostility between Mr Trump and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
In an apparent snub, Mr Trump refused to shake the Democratic leader's hand ahead of his address before a joint session of Congress.
Ms Pelosi, meanwhile, was captured on camera ripping up her copy of the address after Mr Trump had finished delivering it.

Former House speaker Newt Gingrich was among the Republicans to criticise Ms Pelosi.
As Speaker of the House for four State of the Unions by a President of the other party I am disgusted and insulted by the viciously partisan action of Nancy Pelosi tearing up the speech. She isn’t clever or cute her childishness insults our American traditions -should be censured.

Reacting to the address, Ms Pelosi criticised the speech as a "manifesto of mistruths".
The traditional annual State of the Union address came amid the ongoing impeachment trial in the US Senate, with Mr Trump set to be acquitted by the Republican-controlled upper house this week.
It also took place as the first results were announced in the first round of the Democratic presidential race in Iowa.
With November's general election looming, the US president used his third State of the Union speech to focus on what the White House dubbed the 'great American comeback'.
He said: "We meet tonight at a moment of unlimited potential.
"I stand here ready to work with you to achieve historic breakthroughs for all Americans.
"The agenda I will lay out this evening is not a Republican agenda or a Democrat agenda. It’s the agenda of the American people.
"But we must reject the politics of revenge, resistance, and retribution, and embrace the boundless potential of cooperation, compromise, and the common good."
Amid the increasingly tense and bitter partisan divides in Washington, Mr Trump urged politicians to "break decades of political stalemate".
A number of Democrats publicly expressed their opposition to the annual address.
Congressman Tim Ryan said he walked out of the speech as he had "had enough", adding: "It's like watching professional wrestling. It's all fake."
Prominent progressive Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, meanwhile, decided to boycott the traditional address entirely:
After much deliberation, I have decided that I will not use my presence at a state ceremony to normalize Trump’s lawless conduct & subversion of the Constitution.
None of this is normal, and I will not legitimize it.
Consequently, I will not be attending the State of the Union.— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) February 4, 2020
