Primark - the company name of Penneys - has opened its first Italian store.
The shop, which boasts over 56,000 sq. ft. of retail space over two floors, is located at the Il Centro shopping cente in Milan.
Commenting on the launch, Primark CEO Paul Marchant said: "We are thrilled to be opening our first store in Italy in the Il Centro shopping centre in Arese, Milan".
"This new Primark store will offer our new Italian customers amazing fashion at amazing prices for all the family".

The store will employ 400 members of staff, which the company says are all hired in Italy as well as many from the Arese locality.
While customers will have access to free wi-fi. Primark Il Centro will also feature 63 changing rooms and 46 tills.
This new store, which was opened by the Mayor of Arese Michela Palestra, brings the total number of Primark stores to 306 across 11 countries.
Primark will open a further three stores next month - York Monks Cross in the UK and Groningen and Alkmaar in The Netherlands.
While in June, Primark's third store in the US will open in Danbury Fair in Connecticut.
