A person of interest has come forward voluntarily in the investigation into a hit-and-run in Dublin last night.
A man in his 40s was injured in the incident and remains in stable condition in St James Hospital.
He was hit by a car on Lower Rathmines Road at around 8.45pm on Sunday evening.

The car involved failed to stay at the scene.
Gardaí are not looking for any other vehicle in relation to this incident.
They are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
