The government wants to get rid of seagulls around the Department of Health in Dublin.
A tender has been advertised for a professional pest control company for a suitable deterrent system or process, to eliminate the birds from the roof of Hawkins House in Dublin 2.
The deadline for applications has been set for January 30th at 1pm.

Last year, Fianna Fáil Senator Ned O'Sullivan called for the environment minister to intervene and take action against seagulls in Dublin - who he says are keeping people awake at night and stealing children's lollipops.
