Phil Hogan is refusing to comment on complaints that he made mistakes in his handling of water charges.

The EU Commissioner won't be drawn on the comments by the Environment Minister, Alan Kelly.

Before Christmas the Minister said his predecessor could have handled the issue better.

But speaking in Dublin this morning at the National Convention Centre, Commissioner Hogan wouldn't be drawn on the complaints:

Commissioner Hogan was attending an event at the National Convention Cetnre which marked the 60th anniversary of the IFA.

The event looked back at the milestones the organisation has seen in the past, and look ahead to the future of the sector.
