Phil Hogan is refusing to comment on complaints that he made mistakes in his handling of water charges.
The EU Commissioner won't be drawn on the comments by the Environment Minister, Alan Kelly.
Before Christmas the Minister said his predecessor could have handled the issue better.
But speaking in Dublin this morning at the National Convention Centre, Commissioner Hogan wouldn't be drawn on the complaints:
